Why Acoori reed diffusers last so long

When we started developing Acoori, we knew we did not want to create a diffuser that smelled strong for a short time and then faded quickly. 

We spent just under three years researching, testing and refining the recipe before we were happy with it. We wanted something that felt natural, gentle and consistent but that would also last for a meaningful length of time. 

We deliberately chose not to use alcohol or Augeo. Instead, we developed our own carefully balanced blend of plant based carrier oils and pure essential oils, refining it again and again until we achieved the slower diffusion we were looking for. 

That longevity is totally intentional.

We designed our Acoori diffusers to release scent gradually so it becomes part of the atmosphere of a room rather than arriving as a strong burst. The oils move slowly through the reeds, allowing the fragrance to develop over time.

We also designed the diffusers to be easy to live with. Turning the reeds once or twice a week is usually enough to refresh the fragrance while using fewer reeds or turning them less often can create an even softer presence. 

For us, a long lasting diffuser is not simply one with liquid left in the bottle. It is one that continues to feel balanced and enjoyable throughout its life.
