Why flipping (or turning) the reeds makes such a difference
If you've ever wondered whether flipping (or turning) the reeds in your diffuser really matters, the short answer is yes. It makes more difference than most people expect.
Reeds work by drawing the scented oil up through tiny channels and releasing it into the air. Over time, the exposed ends dry out and the scent release slows down.
When you flip the reeds, you're essentially refreshing the diffuser. The saturated ends are bought to the top again, which helps the scent flow more freely into the room.
With natural diffusers like ours, this step is especially important. Because we don't use alcohol or synthetic boosters, the oil blend moves more gently through the reeds. Flipping them once or twice a week helps keep the scent balanced and consistent.
It's a small habit, but it keeps your diffuser performing at its best. And it helps you enjoy the blend the way it was meant to be experienced.
Warmly,
